The research of the Department of Plastic and Hand Surgery, University Hospital Erlangen focuses on bone and muscle tissue engineering and on tumor models with a special focus on vascularization. In the clinical field, the research focuses on new imaging modalities as well as robotic-assisted microsurgery.
