Our working group addresses various research questions relating to patients with chronic wounds. We are trying to find solutions through cooperation with medical informatics specialists to give patients with long-term wounds early access to adequate diagnostics and care. Together with other wound centres, we are working on establishing a national wound registry. In clinical care, we investigate innovative pharmaceutical and technical treatment options for various types of wounds.
