Institute of Intelligent Language Systems
I work in natural language processing (NLP), the field behind large language models, machine translation, and grammar correction. These systems are powerful, but they still struggle with less common cases: low-resource languages and topics, or tasks they haven’t seen before. I build high-quality datasets and efficient models, and I design careful evaluations to understand and improve how well these systems handle new and challenging cases.
